Sciences Without Borders Program
The main goal of the program is to promote the consolidation and expansion of science, technology and innovation in Brazil by means of international exchange and mobility. The initiative is a result of a joint effort of the Ministries of Sciences, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) e do Ministry of Education (MEC), through their respective developments institutions – CNPq and Capes -, and Secretariats of Higher Education and Technological Education of the MEC.
The project aims to promote exchange, so that undergraduate and graduate students take internships abroad with the propose to maintain the contact with competitive educational systems in relation to technology and innovation. Besides, aims to attract foreign researchers who aspire to establish themselves in Brazil or establish partnerships with Brazilian researchers in the priority areas defines in the Program, as well as create opportunity to business researchers receive specialized training abroad.

Fundação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior – CAPES
To complement the efforts of postgraduate courses in Brazil, CAPES grants scholarships abroad of doctorate, sandwich doctorate, postdoctoral research, senior internship and events abroad, therefore feeding the country’s academic and research with upper human resources.

DAAD – German Academic Exchange Service
The DAAD in the past, present and future. A brief look back at history shows that the DAAD has a long tradition of uniting people and academia.
Founded in Heidelberg in 1925 on the initiative of a single student, the DAAD has since become one of the most important funding organizations in the world for the international exchange of students and researchers.
In Brazil, this service coordinates exchange programs to Brazilian students and researchers, divulges Germans higher education institutions, promotes student fairs and scientific congress, as well as lecture and seminars about how to study on Germany.

Association of Portuguese Language Universities (AULP)
AULP aims to promote the multilateral collaboration among universities from country with Portuguese language. Among its main challenges are the dynamization of the network of Portuguese language universities in order to value the diverse cultures, approach the scientific dynamics, increase exchanges in teaching and scientific research, consolidate strategic partnerships and increase the role of Portuguese language as a qualified animator of this community.
Santander Bank, through Santander Universities, works to encourage the international exchange of students and professors, facilitate access to university for low-income students and promote specialist research and education through postgraduate scholarships, facilitating access to their first job.
This program includes initiatives such as TOP Programs (USA, Chine, Spain, UK and Brazil), Luso-Brazilian Scholarships, Formula Santander Scholarships and grants for Spanish teaching at Universidad de La Rioja.
Chevening Scholarships (CS)
Chevening is the UK government’s international awards scheme aimed at developing global leaders since 1983.
Funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organizations, Chevening offers two types of award – Chevening Scholarships and Chevening Fellowships – the recipients of which are personally selected by British Embassies and High Commissions throughout the world.

A Asociación de Universidades do Grupo Montevideo (AUGM)
AUGM is a network of public universities from southern region of Latin America with the goal of integration and academic cooperation among institutions. The academic activities are organized as Disciplinary Nuclei (ND), Academic Committees (CA) and UNESCO Cathedra (CU). The network also promotes Student Scale and Teaching Scale Programs and Journey of Young Investigators.
MARCA Mercosul (MM)
MM is a regional academic mobility program for courses recognized by the accreditation system of universities located in Mercosul and associated states.
Japan International Cooperation Agency – JICA
JICA is advancing its activities around the pillars of a field-oriented approach, human security, and enhanced effectiveness, efficiency, and speed. JICA is a Japanese government agency responsible for Training in Japan Program. It sponsored the receipt of technicians from developing country, as “fellows”, who will be the pillars of the construction of their country, acquisition of techniques and knowledge, creation of systems, etc.

Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport, Science and Technology (MEXT)
The Govern of Japan, through Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport, Science and Technology, offers six different modalities of scholarships for foreigner in Japanese universities (undergraduate, graduate, extension courses, language courses and Japanese culture).
In Brazil, the selective process for MEXT scholarships have been accomplished by Japanese diplomatic representatives (Embassy, Consulates and Consular Offices) since 1956.
General Consulate of Japan in Sao Paulo conducts the selective process for residents in states of São Paulo, Mato Grosso e Mato Grosso do Sul and in the cities of Triângulo Mineiro.

Lemann Foundation offers several scholarships in universities of excellence abroad, especially for students and researchers who have Brazil as the focus of their academic works.
Graduate Woman in Science – GWIS
The GWIS National Fellowships Program offers fellowships to help increase knowledge in the natural sciences and to encourage research careers in the sciences by women. Endowment funds, mostly generated from bequests, provide the annual income that supports scientific research done by GWIS award winners. For the 2016-2017 funding cycle, we distributed approximately $48,000 in fellowships funds to six deserving women scientists.
American Association of University Woman – AAUW
International Fellowships are awarded for full-time study or research in the United States to women who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Both graduate and postgraduate studies at accredited U.S. institutions are supported.
In 1995 the Foundation established an annual program of grants and scholarships for research, study and artistic endeavor within Greece. The educational program is intended exclusively for non-Greeks: members of national academies, university professors of all levels, PhD holders, post-doctorate researchers and doctoral candidates.
Exceptionally and on a case-by-case basis, the program may accept Greeks of the Diaspora, second generation Greeks, and Greeks who permanently reside abroad and have been studying or have been employed in foreign Universities for over 10 or 15 years, depending on the type of scholarship.
The program also includes Cypriot citizens, who have studied and reside outside Greece, and are members of National Academies, University professors of all levels –doctorate holders and post-doctorate researchers– as well as distinguished artists.
