UEMA News magazine was send to 138 countries in January

The Office for International Relations (ARI) launched the digital magazine UEMA News nº 1, of the State University of Maranhão (UEMA), in January last.

The main focus are embassies and consulates of different countries in Brazil, associations of international relations of higher education of other countries, relevant international bodies, managers, professors, researchers, and students of foreign universities. The bilingual magazine was distributed, virtually, to the embassies and/or consulates from 138 countries.

The message of the UEMA, in the form of a UEMA NEWS MAGZINE about the internationalization, teaching, research and extension activities developed, was send to the 28 countries of America, 36 of Europe, 36 of Africa, 33 of Asia and 5 of Oceania.

Furthermore, the 18 universities agreed to the UEMA and the 6 independent research institutions agreements are in process also received the publication.

According to advisor for International Relation, professor Thales de Andrade, the numbers only tends to grow. “The magazine is like a bee that carries pollen from one intelligence to another. And, throughout the year, we will increase the list, connecting us to more universities, research institutions and so on”, said the advisor.
